Kindness Food Boxes
Kindness Food Boxes

Every third week of the month, our church shares Kindness Food Boxes with neighbors in our community, offering food as a sign of care, dignity, and connection.

If you would like to support this ministry, please bring your food donations directly to the church. Your generosity helps provide nourishment, hope, and kindness to those in need. Thank you for being part of a community that shares love through action.

What does it really mean to forgive? Not to forget, not to excuse — but to truly let go?

This spring and summer, we’re reading The Book of Forgiving together — a deeply personal and practical guide written by Nobel Peace Prize winner Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his daughter Mpho Tutu.

Drawing from their own experiences of loss and their work with South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission, they walk us through what forgiveness actually looks like — and why it matters for our own healing and for the world around us.

Each week, we’ll gather to read, reflect, and share honestly with one another. There are no right answers. It’s simply a space to slow down, ask hard questions, and walk this path together.

Whether forgiveness feels easy or impossible for you right now, you are welcome here.

Every Thursday at 11 AM at Readfield UMC

Starting June 11

All are welcome

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.
John 15:9
